Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri is an Indian actress, who gained fame for her role in the film Hum Aapke Hin Koun as well as Beta Saajan. In the late 80s, she began her acting career and became well-known for the character Tezaab, in which she starred with an established actor Anil Kapooor. The next film she appeared in was Dil where she starred alongside Aamir. In the beginning, as a girl growing up in Mumbai's middle-class, she learned to dance. Early in her life, when she first started to perform as an actor, the majority of films she created weren't successful. Then, she discovered success in Indian cinema and rose to the very top. Following her marriage she had an absence from the industry before returning to the business. More recently she played in a crucial character in the film Gulaab Gang which was about the challenges faced by women in India. Dixit received 8 Filmfare Awards out of the fifteen she was nominated for. Padma Shri, the fourth-highest civilian award in India was awarded to her. Social work by her is known to the world.
