Angelica Panganiban, a Filipino American model and actress who also serves as a TV hostess and comedian. The patient became sick, and suffering organ failure, including kidneys that did not recover. She was forced to adapt her life around hemodialysis, then peritoneal dialysate. After 80 straight days in hospital, from the point of death to a long journey to recovery, she finally got home, however her life was forever changed. After nearly a year and half of dialysis Angelica was ready for the largest surgery she had ever undergone- her kidney transplant. She would receive the donated kidney from her mother. The 13th of September, 2013, Angelica as well as her mother underwent an operation to transplant their kidneys at two amazing hospitals located right across from each other: the Memory University Hospital as well as Children's Healthcare of Atlanta Egleston. Angelica Hale is pursuing her stardom dreams ever since.
